Bio
Susan E. Antelis, MPS, ATR-BC, BCIA-C, LCAT, LMHC has been in the field of health care for the past 30 years. She is a NYS Licensed Mental Health Counselor, President of Network Biofeedback Services, Inc., EEG Certified and a Certified Biofeedback Sr. Fellow of the Biofeedback Institute of America. Susan is also Past President and the current Executive Director of the Northeast Regional Biofeedback Society. She is the Chairperson of the Council of State Chapters ; Membership Chair for the American Association of Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback (AAPB), a past AAPB Board member and a current BCIA Board member. Susan is also a Licensed, Board Certified Art Therapist ; a Diplomat of the American Psychotherapy Association..

Susan helped to found and was an officer of the Biofeedback & Behavioral Health Practitioners Guild, a professional Union that addressed legislative advocacy and issues of managed care health insurance as they relate to the practice of Biofeedback.

She has a private practice on Long Island’s South Shore in Lynbrook, which includes a Biofeedback Student Internship ; Mentoring Program and an Art and Play therapy division. She has recently been appointed as an Adjunct Professor of Art Therapy, at Hofstra University and continues on as an Adjunct Professor, at CW Post, LIU Department of Arts and Performing Arts.

Susan has been successful in helping children, adolescents and adults with many different symptoms and conditions.

These include: Anxiety, weight/stress management, Migraine and Tension Headache, ADD/ADHD, Immune Disorders ; Chronic Pain, High Blood Pressure, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Chronic Pain, and tension related to Pregnancy, Labor, Delivery and stress-related Infertility and more. She also works with individuals and groups for: wellness, stress management, peak performance and performance enhancement.

Susan’s work has been documented on television and radio, and in local, national and regional articles for magazines and newspapers.
